Terms of Service
Effective August 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of Inbox Control at getinboxcontrol.com and app.getinboxcontrol.com. By connecting an account you agree to them.
The service
Inbox Control scans Gmail metadata and, only with your approval, marks messages as read (and restores them via Undo). Automated cleaning runs only for categories you explicitly enable and can be turned off at any time. The service is currently a free, invite-only beta; features may change, and paid plans may be introduced with notice.
Your responsibilities
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- Confirmed actions apply promptly and change read-status in your real mailbox. Review the preview before confirming; Undo is available for 30 days.
- Don't attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service.
Beta disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard on safety, and nothing in Inbox Control can delete your mail, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inbox Control and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can disconnect and request deletion anytime (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or threatens the service, and we may discontinue the beta with reasonable notice.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new effective date. Questions: gamarkham@gmail.com.
